Academic and clinical exchange with Clinic of Traditional Chinese Medicine

We are open to new pathways of international cooperation and searching best practices to contribute into professional growth of our students, residents, professors and doctors.
Administrative, teaching and medical staff and residents of I.I. Mechnikov NWSMU took part in academic and clinical exchange with representatives of Clinic of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Sanya, Hainan Province, China) on 19th September 2024.
As part of the visit, the delegation from China visited the X-ray department and the Center for Differential Diagnostics of Lymphadenopathies of the Eichwald Clinic.
A profound specialist in Chinese acupuncture Ms. Sha Ren and talented reflexologist Mr. Cui Wen generously shared their professional techniques with future osteopaths and the Head of the Institute of Osteopathy Mr. Dmitry E. Mokhov. After the master class, members of the delegation and our experts had a heated discussion on the best Chinese and Russian clinical practices in disease prevention, treatment and rehabilitation.
During the productive and promising event, we reached agreements on development of joint educational projects, clinical research and scientific studies.
