Patent and licensing department

The main objective of the Patent and licensing department is protection of intellectual property developing by research associates in the main directions of University scientific activity. Besides core activity, the patent service conducts another types of work:

  • prepares documentation for new medical technologies for further confirmation in the Federal Service for the Supervision of Public Health and Social Development;
  • defines UDC codes (international universal decimal classification) for the documents prepared for publication;
  • selects and submits reports on finished scientific research work in the Central State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation.

For the last 3 years (2013-2015) it is received 64 patents for inventions and useful models which authors are University specialists. In the Federal Service for the Supervision of Public Health and Social Development 6 new medical technologies are affirmed.
