NWSMU students achieved great results at the XIV All-Russian scientific-practical conference "Economics. Business. Youth"

 

From February 29 to March 05, 2024 the XIV All-Russian (with international participation) scientific-practical conference "Economics. Business. Youth" was held. The theme of the conference was "The future of the world and Russian economy in new geopolitical conditions", and our University is proud of our medical students who widen their scientific horizons and interests. The conference was held for students of bachelor's, specialist, master's degree courses of St. Petersburg State University of Economics and other universities remotely in the format of video presentations. The research outcomes of the participants were assessed with the following criteria:

  • Scientific presentation of the research topic;
  • Fluent English presentation;
  • Scientific style of narration;
  • Content (relevance, scope of research, creativity);
  • Coherence of the abstract.

Our students reached a great success with their scientific video presentations: 

1.  Anna Avramidu – winner with the research “Adaptation of international students moving to different countries”;

2.  Vladislav Verendeev winner with the research “Digital Renaissance in Medicine”

3.  Elizaveta Slepneva – winner with the research “Impact of psycho-emotional state on health”

4.  Juliya Babenko – 2nd place winner with the research “ The Link between Bipolar and Creativity”;

5.  Polina Polyunayte – 2nd place winner with the research “Doctor – Patient relationship”.

 

Scientific advisors of the research are PhD in Pedagogy, Associate Professor Tamara A. Bayeva, PhD in Pedagogy, Associate Professor Kabiyat I. Kubacheva.
