On December 6-7, 2018 took place the XII International scientific Conference and Contest for young researches “Topical issues of Sports medicine, kinesiotherapy, physical therapy and health resort study” in the frame of SportMed 2018 in Moscow.

Students from North-Western State Medical University named after I.I. Mechnikov: Julia Ermakova, Anastasia Rudakova, Uliana Chebotareva, 4-year of study, Faculty of General Medicine, were selected to represent our University at the Conference with the report. Anastasia Rudakova was awarded with a 3rd prize diploma. The members of the Presidium emphasized the high knowledge level of students from NWSMU n.a. I.I. Mechnikov. Our students are engaged in work of Students' Scientific Circle, Department of Physical therapy and Sports Medicine. They expressed the words of gratitude and acknowledgements to Rector Prof. S.A. Sayganov, Dean of the General Medicine Faculty I.G. Bakulin and deanery staff for help in the trip organization.
