PROVISION

ON THE CONTEST AMONG YOUNG PHYSICIANS

 

1. Contest  of young physicians is held in the public organization – Saint-Petersburg Society of Physicians n.a. S.P. Botkin. Undergraduate students of medical universities from Saint-Petersburg, interns, residents, PhD students, practitioners from Saint-Petersburg and Northwestern Federal District under the age of 35 years who do not have a degree can take part in the Contest.

2. For the Contest it could be submitted a paper  with the signature of only one author, viewed by the Head of the unit (Head of the Department, Department of Research Institute) or the Chief Physician of the medical institution.

3. The work should be devoted to the description of a clinical case. Volume is no more than 10 printed sheets A4, font 12, the structure is optional. References to literature and list of references are required. Work should be submitted to the Chairman of the Contest Committee in printed and electronic versions (CD-ROM, flash memory card, or via e-mail). Deadline of submission is March 9, 2015.

4. All submitted papers are analyzed by the Contest Committee, formed by the Board of the Society of Physicians n.a. S.P. Botkin, which takes the decision to whom award the first, the second and the third place. In one nomination may be no more than two winners. The Committee's decision is approved by the Board of the Society of Physicians.

5. Awarding of winners is carried out during the plenary session of the Congress of Physicians. Laureates will be awarded the Diploma and gift.

6. Papers of the Contest winners will be published in the form of articles in New Saint-Petersburg medical journal/vedomosti.
